The Little Gothic - Side Story II by B9TRIBECA by elmanouche

Meet with Lili Ballet by Sam Guigou

I had heard rumours, like a whisper coming from deep within the city’s undergrounds. I was at ‘Le Baroque’ – a Gothic pub – enjoying a nice evening. I’m not very fond of that genre, but hey, drink was good there, so was music. I then overheard two Gothic Lolita talking. Usually, I try to discern my work from personal free time but discussion’s subject was intriguing: a ‘huge’ Gothic muscled girl. I don’t have bias about female body-builder or such, some are pretty, like some fat girls are pretty. So I turned toward them and asked her a few questions. They didn’t know much, just heard some of her friends’ sayings. My curiosity was tickled though, but with so few materials nothing I could do.

Day to day life kicked in and I almost forgot about it, when a week later, I was at another Gothic meeting. This time it was for work and I was to cover their “atmosphere party”, vampire, cosplay, you name it. You might have read my paper about it later on. Still, I was sipping hydromel at the counter when a friend found me. After a few minutes of chit-chat he started talking about a massive girl he had met at a Gothic store. There I was hooked, I questioned him a bit and got what I needed. Her name was Lili Ballet, saleswoman at Mortadem.

I won’t tell you how my first meeting with Lili went. I think that photo here is talkative enough, though it doesn’t do her justice, it’s even more impressive in real. She accepted to be interviewed and here is the transcript of our discussion during her workout, yes, including my babbling, just to give you a hint of how impressive it was.

Me: Thanks for welcoming me in here. And for a starter I would like to know when… What?! Is that pounds or kilos?

Lili: You’re welcome, kilos.

Me: How…? (Lili was curling with what looked like 1500Kg barbell in each hand. Ed.) Err… Ok. Anyway, what I wanted to ask is, umm… when did that bodybuilding fever started?

Lili: Oh… Two and a half years ago… Damn that warm-up weight is getting too light… When I met a now good friend for the first time, Lucie… Gaaah… Had to do 20 reps instead of my usual 10… Pheww… Will have to make it 1750 next time… Lucie was a powerlifter I met at my workplace. She was huge, sexy, exhaling a confidence I was jealous of. And those muscles she had… I just wanted to be like her. But I’ve always been 5’2… And skinny. Imagine me skinny? (Laughs)

Me: I… Think… I… Can… S-s-so you g-got that big in such a short time!? (She was curling two tonnes in each hand.)

Lili: Nah, not at first. I was what? 115Lbs after 8 months? Which was kind of nice already, I mean for my frame. And in same time period that girl had tripled in size. It depressed me a bit not being able to bulk up more, but that’s how I was.

Me: Ok, seems like usual progress. Then what happened? What triggered such… Impressive growth? You must be like, the most muscular and strongest human on earth…

Lili: That’s not being cocky… But yeah I know I am…. That’s six tonnes I’m bench pressing here! (Pause) Do you remember that tragic train accident last year? I was on it, fell asleep on it… And woke up 7 months later. When I did, I was weak and even skinnier than before, though happy to be alive, somehow. Then doctors presented me an experimental treatment, which was meant to shorten re-education to just a month instead of the four initially planned. I said yes. I got convinced to do it by my friend Aline who worked in the lab and assured me it was safe. If you don’t trust your friend who do you trust?

In just three weeks I was up and running again. After this preliminary testing period, they were interested in me to go further, to keep on taking more of their meds, they wanted to see at which point their product could induce muscle growth. I said yes again… Happily. (Laughs.)

Me: Wow. But who’s ‘they’? And what was the medicine? Steroids?

Lili: You can get any information you want directly from them. (She gave me their address.) Ask for Aline Folgent. She’ll can explain that molecule better than I do. It’s not steroid though, it’s a synthetic protein designed to ‘block’ myostatin which inhibit muscle growth. Supposedly for muscular dystrophy.

Me: I see, thanks. For how long have you been a ‘guinea pig’?

Ok, pause here, because as I was raising my head back up from my notebook, she had just finished a huge bench press set and was casually bulging her chest muscles in front of the mirror. And I’ll tell you that, if watching a photo already seems like a ‘toshoped one, seeing her flexing for real was… Unreal. Chords of muscles bulging and rippling at every single flex of her… Monstrous body, can’t call it otherwise, slabs of rippled pectorals eclipsing her mouth when she turned toward me to answer my question, pumped.

I think I blacked-out, or phased out I don’t know, she was talking to me then looked concern.

Lili: …And they’re still examining… Are you with me?

Me: Yes! Yes… Hum, sorry. Could you repeat please?

Lili: (giggles) Ok, I said test period was meant for a year, but stopped at 11th month as I wasn’t growing any more. I still was gaining strength but at a much slower pace. I guess that’s what my body limits are. Scientists are still examining results.

Me: By ‘wasn’t growing’ you mean, your mass has stayed even since then?

Lili: That’s right, I’ve been at more or less 590lbs.

Me: Five… Hundred… Ninety… Pounds… In 11 months…

Lili: Ten actually, first month was recovery. It appeared during first check-ups that I was recovering from heavy trainings quite rapidly. Call it my ‘good genes’ there. They asked me to increase my load so I worked-out a lot more. I was going like two times a day, six days a week, jogging every day and eating… god knows how much I’ve eaten for a year…

Me: Wow… Does this mean you’ve slowed down?

Lili: Just lately, I was so used to that rhythm and was still piling on strength, it was just eat, gym, work, and sleep, no time for anything else. No time for friends, nor movies, nor going out and I missed that. it takes time for a body to get accustomed to new habits and I needed to give my body and mind a break.

Me: Seems understandable. What’s your new rhythm and are you still making progress?

Lili: I’m down to four trainings a week, instead of twelve. Still working on the food intake part, I’m just so hungry at times. (Giggles.) And yes, I do keep packing on strength, of course at a much slower pace, but I have time and it motivates me to know I can do better.

Me: Any thought about competing?

Lili: Seriously, where would be the point?

Me: Well… Right, none really. Maybe just a proof that you are ‘real’? If I may say.

Lili: Isn’t it the purpose of this interview? You know, I was just a guinea pig. I mean, I knew I couldn’t get that big on my own. I had resigned on that fate and any pounds I could put on back then was already enjoyable to me. I just had luck, out of my train misadventure. I’m not looking for fame. (Chuckles.) Then why I accepted this interview you may ask? I guess I’m human, ego took over reason. And I admit, pumping iron makes you a bit of an exhibitionist. (Giggles)

Me: Right, got it! Hmm, maybe you could share us with some stats…?

Lili: I haven’t measured in two month… So come and feel my stats!

She was flexing her humongous biceps, and I must say I’m a bit in a lack of words to describe what I saw. It must have been almost the size of my chest. I tried to keep my balance as what I was staring at was defying reality. I confess I touched. Muscles hard as steel wrapped into a silk warm skin. It was hypnotising yet disgusting at same time. “Was there any feminine part left in her I thought? Her voice?” Hopefully some noise and someone coming in caught Lili’s attention as well as mine.

This new demonstration of women musculature was Lucie, an inch taller than me and packing more muscles than two Arnold Schwarzenegger combined, she was the one who inspired Lili Ballet and I could see why. The gym manager, even if taller and powerfully built, looked puny next to those ‘monsters’. I suddenly felt out of place surrounded by such ‘giants’ and politely took my leave.

Lili Ballet, as you can see, is not any ordinary girl. She can one handed lift your car and still blush about it. I was pleased to meet her, a nice mind blowing experience I would recommend.  Good for ego.

Sam Guigou.

Here it is, been procrastinating enough no?

:iconb9tribeca: did that for me more than a year ago... How could I forget to share it? Thanks a lot B9, it's awesome.

Happy reading.
